1. 1. Validate various climate change projections over Saudi Arabia .
   2. Use and develop climate predications techniques .
   3. Create a database of weather and climate for Saudi Arabia .
   4. Carry out the research in the field of climate change using the state-of-the-art global and regional climate models, and investigate possible causes of recent climate change .
   5. Assess the effect of future climate change in Saudi Arabia .
   6. Assess changes in extremes because of  future climate change . 
   7. Assess the impacts of climate change for the society .
   8. Provide services to the  scientific community through websites, etc.
   9. Contribute to the scientific progress in climate research worldwide .
